Stop Sell Allowed on Freesale Allocations
Jul 16th, 2009 at 3:58pm

We have discovered that our PCMs and service lines that are set up as freesale in the message defaults, TP will allow us to manually make bookings even though the allocations are set to no sale. If I switch the message default to allocation then it does not allow us to book. Please see the attached document which provides screen prints of our example.

Please can you let me know how to set up the freesale options and PCMs so that we can stop sell via our allocations on our manual bookings.

According to me if you setup a service to be sold on FREEALE you cannot set block out dates. A service sold on FREESALE will ALWAYS be available; the allocation is not checked for services sold on freesale.

The only way to setup Freesale with possibility of block out dates is to sell the service of allocation but setup an allocation of 999. Since you have setup the allocation in this manner I am not sure why you are using Freesale in the message defaults and not normal Allocation?
